In Elektroprivreda Crne Gore we pay a lot of attention to donations and we are proud to say that for many years we have been actively involved in development of our society. Donations are in fact one of a number of ways connecting us with our customers.

On this occasion we would like to give you three examples from the area of sports and health care.

 

EPCG GENERAL SPONSOR OF WATER POLO AND SWIMMING FEDERATION OF MONTENEGRO

EPCG continues with a good practice of supporting sports clubs which in the best way represent our country. This concept of social responsibility we crowned with signature of the Agreement between Elektroprivreda Crne Gore and the Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro.    
By signature of the above Agreement, Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Niksic became a general sponsor of the Water Polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro. 
The funds envisaged by this Agreement are intended for preparation and participation of Montenegrin Water Polo Federation in the following competitions: World League Finals (June 17-22), European Championship (July 4-13) and the Olympic games which are to begin on August 10 in Beijing. Two junior selections will also participate this summer in junior, i.e. European Youth Championship.   
A broad support is required in order to ensure good results in sports competitions, and EPCG decided to give its support to our water polo players, so that they could successfully represent our sports and country on international competitive scene.
In this way EPCG gives its contribution to promotion of top sports and competitive achievements, and water polo national team of Montenegro in the best possible way represents and promotes those values. 
In EPCG we are happy that we gave our contribution and stood by our water polo players at the time of this hystorical success – winning of the European Championship in water polo which took place in Malaga.

 

DONATION TO HOSPITAL „RISAN“

Special hospital „Vaso Cukovic“ from Risan is one of the most important health care institutions in Montenegro. It is recognised as a center for preventive, diagnosis and treatments in the area of orthopeady, neurosurgery and neurology. Humanity and dedication of doctors of this hospital to their patients is evident and recognized and it is also one of the reasons giving this health care institution a very high rating between patients, doctors, associates and citizens in general.

EPCG granted the funds necessary for acquisition of a scanner PQ 5000 (piker) which is used for X-ray examining of head and body. Acquisition of this machine is extremely important as it is the first one of that kind which was acquired for Boka region.
