Functional Unit Supply
The youngest part of EPCG, FU Supply, in addition to its core activity, which is contained in its name, also charges delivered (sold) electricity, carries out the analysis, planning and control of spending, investigates and monitors the market for summary of annual spending plans for energy and power based on the amount contracted with customers, the balance of expenditure and determines the missing amount. It also does the purchase of energy, as well as the distribution and sale of electricity. Also planned is the purchase of energy, as well as the distribution and sale of electricity. Proposes tariffs for certain consumer groups, analyzes the tariff system from the energetic and economic aspects in the function of rational use of capacity, proposes changes in tariff system, prepares plans for sale of electricity, does jobs in order to improve sales and billing. It also negotiates and implements signed agreements for the supply of tariff customers, delivers bills and so on.
In short, this functional unit is engaged in delivering, selling and billing of electricity to tariff customers, i.e. the category of households, as well as industrial and commercial consumers.
Immediately after the forming of this functional unit, which currently has 186 employees, there was an improvement in the collection of receivables for electricity bills, and consequently in the business of the whole system of EPCG.
FU Supply consists of the: Department for collection, Department for sale of electricity and balances, Center for contact with the customers as well as the 16 organizational units located throughout the territory of Montenegro, where you can pay your bill, get an explanation of the account structure, and electricity customers may conclude the protocol on the settlement.
The main responsibilities of the Sector for collection are reading, billing and collection for electricity supplied to the distribution customers, and the conclusion of treaties and protocols on the dynamics of settlement of obligations, in addition to dealing with the complaints, here are issued exclusion orders for irregular payers.
Sector for the sale of electricity and the balance coordinates and monitors the conclusion of contracts with the tariff customers, engages in the development and monitoring to achieve the balance of consumption, does planning of electricity consumption on an annual, monthly, weekly and daily basis as well as tracking of deviations from the planned size achieved.
Center for contact with the customers deals with the introduction of methodologies and processes in order to understand the needs and habits of customers and to create closer ties between buyers and suppliers. Center for contact with the customers provides information on the:
- prices and the method of calculating electricity,
- amount owed by the electricity supplied,
- way of delivering bills, warning about the exclusion and etc.,
- exercising their right to subsidy by the Government of Montenegro
- entitlement to a discount on electricity bill,
- calculation method and the amount of penalty interest on unpaid bills for electricity,
- how to rationalize consumption and the improve energy efficiency,
- activities related to the conclusion and the termination of contract on electricity supply,
- manner of exercising all rights which the buyer may have regarding your account through the complaint procedure for its settlement.
